Diploma in Theology Course
Aim of Theological Pastoral Institute in Providing Theological Pastoral Knowledge to Religious Men and women.
The Institute is aiming to educate religious sister and brothers who will be
❖ Teaching Religion in Primary and Secondary Schools including Social Center and colleges.
❖ Instructing catechumens and prepare children for initial sacraments.
❖ Helping priests and Bishops in the administration of the parish office and in the diocese as well.
❖ Teaching Youths and Adults and form good features, church leaders.
❖ Helping others sisters and brothers of their own congregations such as giving retreats, seminars, and any other spirituals matter whenever they are needed.
❖ Being formators in their respective congregations as well as becoming good leaders in their own congregations.
❖ Carrying out research on pastoral needs of the people of God and find out how to make evangelization effective while promoting Basic Christian Communities.
❖ Promoting inculturation according to the Gospel and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
❖ Defending people’s rights justice and promote God’s love to children, the poor, and the oppressed, and eliminate evils in the world by teaching moral laws.

Catechetical Course
Aim of providing theological Pastoral Studies to Laypeople. We wish to increase the number of Catechist in the church who will be available and closer to the people in the villages in many places who will help the Priests in the Parishes by:
❖ Teaching religion to the children who need Baptism, First Holy and Communication, and Confirmation.
❖ Go to primary and Secondary Schools for teaching religion.
❖ Instructing Catechumen.
❖ Give matrimonial advice, counseling, and instructions on faith matters.
❖ Visit the sick in the families, and do burials in the absences of priests through special permission.
❖ Teaching religion to the children who need Baptism, First Holy and Communication, and Confirmation.
❖ Go to primary and Secondary Schools for teaching religion.

Catechetical and Formations Course
Aim of the institute in providing Theological studies to postulants and aspirants.
❖ To increase their knowledge of God and so they can help in the work of evangelizing.
❖ To promote youth ministries in the church.
❖ Our main purpose of providing this short course to postulants and aspirants is by learning that, if youth are given the responsibility of teaching religion, they can do marvelous things for the church of God wherever they might be. We provided this short course after the request of many superiors from different congregations here in Tanzania. The course will help them to know God deeply and love Him because most of them studied in primary and secondary schools where the religious subjects and Bible knowledge were not taught.
❖ To prepare liturgical readings at the Altar and sacristy works etc.
❖ To form well-trained youths who will be to help children for initial Sacraments and teaching religion to primary schools.
